LOCAL 200 BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE ATTENDS EMERGENCY MEETING IN COVINA, CA OF LOCALS THAT REPRESENT MEMBERS AT WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC.

Over 400 members of Local 396 in Long Beach, CA are on strike against Waste Management, Inc.

Local 200 Business Representative Mike Gurich is in attendance at this very important meeting that was called by Robert Morales, Director of Solid Waste, Recycling and Related Industries Division of the IBT, to keep Local 200 up-to-date with what is happening at Local 396 and Local 439 along with other sites across the country involving
Waste Management, Inc.
Also, discussions pertaining to coordinated actions and national extension of picket lines will be held.

Local 200 has a contract with Waste Management, Inc. that will be coming open soon.
