AFTER 20 MONTHS TEAMSTERS AT PERELES BROS. INC. FINALLY HAVE A CONTRACT

The five year deal brings job security in an industrial sector where many employers are closing up shop.

“You never get everything you ask for but we’re glad we finally have a signed contract”, said Local 200 Steward Greg Klima. “This process has been going on since December of 2005 and we are glad it’s over”.

“20 months is too long for any negotiations to carry on”, said Local 200 Secretary Treasurer Tom Millonzi. “The members at Pereles Bros. Inc. ratified their contract by a 4 to 1 margin and should be commended for their resolve and resilience”.
